Fresh vegetables?? Cold water?? Bread that can be kept for more than two days without being gobbled up by mold??
That's right folks, thanks to a certain dad's willingness to see the truth of this business about Jesus not actually being born mid-winter and thus embracing a little flexibility on the notion of when we celebrate Christmas and the giving of electronics and appliances that goes with it, I have a refrigerator. "Fridge" as we call them stateside, or "Ref" as they call them here in the Peens.
The conclusion: I'm fancy.

My coffee table is re-purposed as a fridge table so it can reach the outlet - the burner now sits on top
That is bread, eggs, okra, cabbage, a cucumber and an eggplant. And water chilling in the back!
